Get it here: http://download.pso2.jp/PSO2_CC.zip or here: http://www.4gamer.net/games/120/G012075/20120330045/

Try both, get fastest?

RE: Character Creator creations thread
Successfully recreated my two mains from the alpha 2 test.

Xanto (HUcast), based off of my PSZ HUcast of the same name

Acacia (FOnewearl), based off of...no one in particular. :V

I might go back and tweak them a bit before the beta (Acacia's face in particular I didn't get quite right), but this is more or less what they'll look like.

Also, what kind of results were people getting from the benchmark test? I got ~2400 with settings at 5, but it was running at 60 fps almost the whole time except for a bit of slowdown when the characters are warping in at the beginning. Lowering it down to 1 only boosted it to like 2500, so I don't know how you're even supposed to get over 5000.

The results on the benchmark test were very different depending on the resolution. My first try at 1920x1080 net me 6600 points, but at 1280x720 i got 33000. Spring also made mentioned that he got different scores with different characters.

more cast action

Meet the Newman reboot of my main from PSO2, thought I'd give myself more of a challenge by playing Newman Hunter.

I expected a little bit better 6770, settings are at 5. then I remembered that I have Chrome opened with a lot of tabs, IRC, Skype, foobar2000 and Adobe Premiere in the background. Overall though the game ran fine with no noticeable framerate drops.

I think I found out what the issue is. It seems for me at least that running it in fullscreen caps the fps to 60, whereas running it windowed lets the fps go as high as it can. It seems like the benchmark only checks how many fps you're getting, so if you're "only" getting 60 the whole time since it's getting capped there, you're going to get a mediocre score even though your computer can handle more than that. I tried it windowed in 1024x768 and got around 11000; 1920x1080 got me 3300-ish. I think I would actually have a higher score than 3300 in fullscreen if it measured it more accurately.

RE: Character Creator creations thread
Nope, Windowed and full screen are both over 60 with this card. Let's do some comparisons of 1280x720 windowed with PSO2 on this PC:
ATI Radeon HD 6770
AMD Phenom II X4 B60 BE @ 3.3Ghz
8GB DDR3 RAM

Graphic settings benchmark:
1 (lowest setting):

3 (default setting):

5 (Maximum settings):

The 60-fps cap may be because of forced v-sync. You should be able to turn it off in your video card preferences.
